Other Ways to Help

Share Your Time
If you live in the Georgetown area or are close enough to drive on occassion, consider donating some of your TIME to the chapter and alumni association. Come to meetings! Chapter meetings are usually on Monday evenings around 7:00 and alumni board meetings are announced on the website. We'd love to see you and your input and advice are valuable. Consider taking on a special project, advising a chapter officer, or becoming a member of the alumni board. History has shown that chapters with involved alumni are much stronger than those which have none. Give back to your fraternity, renew old friendships, kindle new ones, and have FUN while you're doing it!

Share Your Talent
Are you an accounting whiz? Can you make a webpage? Are you an investment fund manager? Are you a minister who would like to speak to college students? Can you make an inspirational speech at a rush dinner? Have a place to throw a great party? Only YOU know your talents! Whatever they are, consider using them to help the active chapter and alumni association. It doesn't take a long term commitment, just whatever and however you think you can help.

Share Your Treasure
Beside donations to the new Endowment fund, which are tax-deductible, you may still choose to make a donation directly to the chapter for its current needs, or to the alumni organization to support its activities supporting the chapter. These "good old ways" of donating are not tax-deductible, but are other options for you to share your treasure.

Make Contact!
However you can help, contact one of the members of the alumni board with your ideas, or just let us know you are available. There are members on the board from the 50's, 60's, 80's, 90's, and 00's (where are all you 70's guys?!?), so you're likely to find a familiar face.
